Role overview
This role is focused on representing the brand on the shop floor and driving store sales through strong customer service and a polished retail experience.
The position also includes routine store operations such as upkeep, visual merchandising support, and other tasks assigned by the store manager or assistant store manager.
Core responsibilities
- Use product knowledge across cosmetics and accessories to support customer needs.
- Deliver confident make-up selling and recommend products that suit each customer.
- Identify what shoppers are looking for and provide service that feels attentive and helpful.
- Maintain the brand’s image by staying informed about products and helping reduce stock loss.
- Keep merchandise arranged according to display standards so it looks attractive and easy to shop.
- Stay alert to store security requirements and avoid lapses in vigilance.
- Maintain a clean, well-organized store environment at all times.
- Work at the POS and billing counter when required.
- Welcome customers warmly and guide them toward suitable products.
- Always maintain a neat, presentable, and well-groomed appearance.
- Count cash at the start and end of shifts and manage payment handling accurately.
- Accept payments through cash, cards, vouchers, and automated debit methods.
- Issue receipts, refunds, and change correctly and without error.
- Help convert casual browsers into paying customers.
- Promote the Club Apparel Loyalty Program to encourage repeat purchases.
- Be willing to work longer hours during sales periods and festivals.
- Track inventory coming in and going out, and keep records up to date.
- Stay aware of the different group brands to support cross-selling and suggestive selling.
Working expectations
