Role Overview

This opening is for a Bancassurance Sales Leader in the Bancassurance division of a major life insurance organization. The role focuses on driving business through bank branches and leading a frontline sales team.

Team Leadership

You will be accountable for leading a group of 8+ Front Line Sales Managers and ensuring the team delivers strong results across assigned bank branches.

Key Responsibilities

Direct, support, and energize a team of more than eight Front Line Sales Managers.
Grow life insurance business through the bancassurance route across designated bank branches.
Develop productive working relationships with branch managers and other important bank contacts.
Track team performance on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis against revenue and sales targets.
Make sure the team follows company objectives as well as all compliance requirements.
Run regular team huddles, training sessions, and performance evaluations.
Improve productivity and strengthen lead-to-sale conversion rates.
Plan and implement ways to expand business volume and raise sales effectiveness.
Manage escalations, maintain client relationships, and assist the team in closing important business.

Candidate Profile

Applicants should bring at least 7 years of experience in life insurance sales, including exposure to direct sales and bancassurance. A minimum of 2 years in a team leadership role is required, along with a demonstrated ability to manage sales professionals and generate annual business volume of more than 1 crore.
