Role Summary
The Admissions Officer at South Thames College plays a vital role in delivering comprehensive information and enrollment support services to prospective and current students as well as staff members.
Key Responsibilities
You will deliver excellence in customer care across various communication channels including face-to-face interactions, telephone, and email. The role involves staying well-informed about education programs, fee structures, eligibility criteria, and responding to inquiries accurately and sensitively. Administrative duties include maintaining and completing enrollment documentation such as fee assessments, application submissions, financial paperwork, and daily cash reconciliation, alongside managing postal tasks, reception duties, and assisting with admissions events as necessary.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates will have proven experience in a customer service-oriented setting, ensuring courteous, informative, and timely responses to client needs. Previous administrative exposure with team support experience is essential, along with solid computer literacy including accurate keyboarding and data input skills. Strong interpersonal communication skills are necessary to confidently engage with students, visitors, and colleagues, all while handling workload pressures and meeting firm deadlines.
