Role overview
An established national construction company is looking for an Accounts Payable Officer to join its finance team on the northern Gold Coast. What the role involves
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Team Lead, you will take ownership of a range of accounts payable and finance administration tasks. The position is varied and hands-on, giving you responsibility across invoice processing, reconciliations, supplier follow-up, and support for month-end and reporting activities.
Key duties
- Review and process contractor invoices, then reconcile timesheets to make sure all records match approved documentation.
- Contact labour hire suppliers to chase missing paperwork or clear up mismatched details.
- Administer company credit cards, including transaction coding, reconciliations, and compliance checks.
- Carry out regular supplier statement reconciliations and resolve any differences promptly.
- Assist with three-way matching of purchase orders, goods receipts, and invoices.
- Provide broader accounts and administrative support, including help with reporting and month-end tasks.
- Work closely with internal teams to keep financial records accurate and processes running efficiently.
