Role Summary
The company is seeking a diligent Account Executive to join its finance department. This position involves daily accounting duties and offers hands-on involvement in enhancing financial processes within an expanding international firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily accounting tasks including managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Perform bookkeeping and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Prepare journal entries and reconcile accounts.
- Assist with monthly financial close processes.
- Maintain supporting documentation for all accounting activities.
- Generate schedules required for audits and taxes.
- Support the completion of prior accounting, audit, and tax tasks.
- Contribute to optimization of finance documentation and operational procedures.
- Provide assistance on additional finance-related projects as needed.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting.
- Strong grasp of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
- Highly organized, detail-focused, with proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Preferably experienced with full-set accounting and familiar with audit and tax processes.
- Knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or ERP systems is advantageous.
- Eager to learn and participate in continuous process improvement.
