Role Overview
We are seeking a Reward Specialist to join our Human Resources team in Malta. This role focuses on designing and implementing total reward and recognition frameworks that enhance our high-performance culture, strengthen employee engagement, and position Tipico as an Employer of Choice.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with colleagues to review and improve the Reward framework, ensuring market competitiveness in talent acquisition and retention.
- Collect and analyze reward data to assess the effectiveness of compensation, remuneration, and benefits initiatives.
- Assist with major annual reward activities such as salary reviews, benchmarking surveys, job evaluations, and benefits assessments.
- Create clear and insightful reports from complex data sets to facilitate informed organizational decisions.
- Monitor market trends and industry innovations to keep reward strategies forward-looking.
- Work closely with HR teams to provide meaningful reward insights and recommendations that improve employee experiences.
- Contribute to developing reward strategies that attract, motivate, and retain high-quality talent aligned with business objectives.
Qualifications
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Reward Management, Business, or a related discipline.
- Have at least 2 years of experience in Reward, Compensation & Benefits, or a related field.
- Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and responsibility, understanding how reward programs affect performance and engagement.
- Exhibit excellent teamwork and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and maintain project momentum.
- Maintain a proactive, solution-oriented mindset with positive problem-solving abilities.
- Be proficient with data analysis and reporting, particularly using Microsoft Excel to translate data into actionable insights.
- Have a solid understanding of job grading, salary benchmarking, and market analysis, with preferred experience using tools like Willis Towers Watson or similar.
