Role Overview

The Junior Event Producer will be dedicated to RTM's K-12 event programs. This individual should have experience executing at least one B2B conference or event, understanding what it takes to deliver a polished event experience. Reporting to a Production Manager and working alongside other Producers, the role demands excellent collaboration to ensure event success. The work arrangement is hybrid/remote with those in NY, NJ, CT working two days weekly onsite, and remote options available for CA, FL, TX, PA, GA, OH, IN, SC, and MA employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough research and craft engaging content for conferences in partnership with industry professionals and internal teams.
• Identify and reach out to potential speakers for delegation roles.
• Develop detailed conference programs with multiple sessions, keynote speakers, and carefully curated content.
• Maintain up-to-date conference schedules and digital collateral.
• Keep all internal event databases current and accurate.
• Handle speaker expense negotiations in compliance with budgetary guidelines, coordinating closely with operations.
• Ensure flawless on-site execution regarding speaker readiness, session timing, and handling technical or logistical requirements.
• Collaborate with the operations team to align with event operating procedures for smooth onsite operations.
• Review and analyze previous events to identify improvement opportunities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Experience in B2B event production, preferably involving at least one complete program.
• Background in sales or prospecting, specifically targeting C-level executives.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy and self-motivation.
• Ability to work proactively under pressure and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong follow-up and follow-through capability.
• Technologically savvy with ease in learning new software and applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Canva or similar graphic design tools.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range from $50,000 to $55,000 base, plus bonuses, incentives, and uncapped commissions.
• Projected total first-year compensation between $65,000 and $70,000.

Work Location
