Job Overview
We are searching for a driven and technically skilled Senior Inside Sales Executive to enhance our sales efforts specializing in industrial valves, pumps, and mechanical seals. The candidate should have a solid background in mechanical engineering, exceptional communication talents, and demonstrated expertise in managing customer queries, quotations, technical negotiations, and order processing within the industrial manufacturing domain.
Primary Duties
- Respond to customer inquiries offering both technical and commercial guidance.
- Develop and submit detailed quotations, proposals, and tender documentation.
- Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate solutions involving valves, pumps, or mechanical seals.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering teams, and clients to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Persistently follow up on quotations to convert leads into confirmed orders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current customers while scouting for new business prospects.
- Manage CRM databases, sales documentation, and customer information accurately.
- Negotiate prices, delivery timelines, and commercial terms adhering to company policies.
- Coordinate with procurement and operations to guarantee timely product delivery.
- Assist field sales engineers by providing technical and commercial support.
- Keep track of market developments, competitor actions, and evolving customer needs.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Comprehensive understanding of industrial valves, pumps, mechanical seals, and associated mechanical systems.
- Capability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and datasheets.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient negotiation and customer relationship management capabilities.
- Experience using MS Office, ERP, and CRM platforms.
- Ability to handle multiple quotations and customer accounts effectively.
- Familiarity with industrial processes and their applications.
- Mechanical Engineering Diploma and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years inside sales experience with industrial valves, pumps, seals, or related products.
- Proven success in meeting sales targets and advancing business growth.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, and a self-driven, customer-centric mindset.
