Housekeeping Attendant

Job Overview

We are looking for enthusiastic and guest-oriented housekeeping professionals who excel at delivering exceptional customer service and developing innovative solutions for guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain work assignments, keys, and supplies from supervisors, accurately recording key sign-outs in the log book.
• Perform thorough cleaning of rooms and bathrooms, including bed making, sink, bathtub, toilet, tile, mirror, floor cleaning, and polishing of brass and metal fixtures.
• Ensure fire exits and stairways remain unobstructed at all times.
• Promptly report any maintenance issues identified during cleaning tasks.
• Keep corridors and pathways free from litter.
• Vacuum carpets and upholstered furniture, dust and wipe surfaces, empty ashtrays and wastebaskets.
• Restock bathroom and room supplies as needed.
• Neatly arrange guest toiletries on vanity tops and perform spot cleaning of carpets when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of guest corridors, service pantries, and service areas consistently.
• Remove room service trays and trolleys from guestrooms and corridors.
• Coordinate with valet services for collection of guests' laundry, dry cleaning, or pressing requests.

Qualifications and Skills

Applicants ideally possess vocational training in hotel housekeeping. Proficiency in English is beneficial.

The candidate should be amiable, compassionate, dedicated, culturally sensitive, and willing to commit extra effort and time when necessary. The role requires the ability to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment and collaborate within a multicultural team and guest base.
