Overview
We are looking for a driven and experienced leader to spearhead our growth and unlock new business opportunities. As the Head of Business Development, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our company strategy and expanding our market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute business development strategies in close collaboration with executive management
- Identify, analyze, and capitalize on new markets, business areas, and growth opportunities
- Establish and maintain strategic partnerships along with key account management
- Lead and nurture the Business Development team to enhance performance and growth
- Negotiate and finalize cooperation agreements and framework contracts
- Conduct market and competitive analysis and monitor relevant trends
- Represent the company at trade fairs, conferences, and industry events
Qualifications
- Minimum of five years professional experience in business development, preferably within the technology sector
- Proven track record of successfully building new business divisions and strategic partnerships
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Demonstrated leadership experience with capability to motivate and develop teams
- Fluency in German and English at a negotiation level; additional languages are advantageous
