Job Purpose

As a General Manager at Buddy's Pizza, you will oversee all facets of a single store's operations to boost customer satisfaction and profitability. You will uphold exemplary service standards, coordinate daily operations, and foster communication across management and team members. This role entails working a minimum of five days and 50 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct store operations during scheduled shifts, ensuring quality products, cleanliness, staff training, and excellent customer service.
• Manage labor and scheduling; monitor breaks and uphold cash handling policies.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings to prepare staff for operational goals.
• Provide continuous guidance to team to follow procedures and enhance efficiency.
• Complete managerial accounting reports and analyze sales and labor data.
• Identify and implement strategies to improve operations and meet store objectives.
• Ensure accuracy in line checks across all shifts.
• Maintain positive employee relations, fostering morale and development.
• Promote workplace safety to minimize accidents and injuries.
• Oversee delivery processes to verify product accuracy and billing.
• Handle guest relationships by addressing inquiries, managing comps, promotions, credits, and requests.

Leadership Functions

• Assist in hiring, training, and scheduling new staff.
• Utilize communication tools effectively such as pre-shift talks, records, and performance evaluations.
• Conduct employee performance reviews and provide both commendations and corrective feedback.
• Enforce Buddy's uniform and professional conduct standards.

Required Qualifications

• At least 3 years of general management experience in a full-service restaurant environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, staff development, and operational expertise.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with robust problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Understanding of employment law and confidentiality protocols.
• Outstanding customer service mindset.
• Proficient computer skills for management reporting.
