Job Location

This full-time position is based at our 'Lowlands' site in Mt Gambier, South Australia.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in induction procedures for smooth onboarding.
• Carry out animal care and husbandry tasks.
• Manage movement of livestock including cattle and sheep.
• Perform pen riding activities and yard duties.
• Load and unload cattle and sheep efficiently.
• Use and handle working dogs within stockyards.
• Operate front-end loader tractor for silage and hay harvesting.
• Fill hay rings with fodder as required.
• Maintain farm infrastructure such as electric fences and water systems.
• Clean and upkeep troughs regularly.

Candidate Requirements

• Dependable, physically fit, and team-oriented worker.
• Attention to detail and adherence to hygiene and established protocols.
• Possession of Certificate II or III in Agriculture or comparable qualifications is preferred but not mandatory.
• Willingness to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and medical assessments if needed.
• Have received or are willing to receive Q Fever vaccination.
• Must have reliable transportation for commuting to and from the workplace.
