Role Overview

The Domestic Assistant position is vital for ensuring a safe, clean, and hygienic environment for patients, staff, and visitors, playing a significant part in controlling Healthcare Acquired Infections. The role encompasses cleaning duties across clinical and non-clinical settings within Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Duties

• Perform high-level dusting on walls, ceilings, curtain rails, and doors.
• Carry out damp dusting of furniture, fittings, ledges, and painted surfaces.
• Vacuum floors thoroughly on a daily basis.
• Conduct comprehensive deep cleaning of various areas and equipment.
• Provide service of patient beverages as required.
