Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist product management processes including analyzing pricing and margins, developing pricing and volume scenarios, and optimizing plant portfolio.
  • Participate actively in the S&OP process to ensure alignment between demand and supply across Asian plants.
  • Develop, maintain, and track marketing plans in accordance with Birla Carbon’s global marketing strategies, ensuring effective implementation.
  • Establish and update minimum product pricing specific to regional assets, govern pricing practices, and support annual Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes with sales leadership.
  • Drive team development by mentoring marketing managers, promoting analytical thinking and commercial insight, and identifying training needs.
  • Generate periodic business reports and dashboards to detect anomalies, support pricing and margin analysis, and facilitate data-driven decision making.
  • Lead coordination of S&OP activities, assist asset management with portfolio analysis, and optimize asset utilization through collaboration with Supply Chain, Operations, and Sales teams.
  • Support new product development and capital project initiatives by providing comprehensive business cases.
