Job description
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Child Caregiver/Nanny to work full-time on-site within a private household in Mission, British Columbia. This permanent position involves providing comprehensive care for children, supporting household responsibilities, and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full charge of the household during parents' absence.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, including cleaning, washing, ironing, and pressing clothing and linens.
- Travel with the family when required to assist in child supervision and related household duties.
- Care for children by bathing, dressing, feeding, and preparing nutritious meals.
- Enforce discipline according to parents’ guidelines and instruct children on personal hygiene and social skills.
- Maintain records of children's daily activities and health information.
- Organize games, outings, and other engaging activities for children of various ages.
- Prepare children for rest periods and provide homework support.
- Escort children to and from school and appointments.
- Maintain safety and health standards within the home environment.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Previous experience in childcare is an asset but not mandatory.
- English language proficiency is necessary.
- Valid driver's license is beneficial.
- Availability to use public transportation is required.
- Must pass a criminal record check.

Additional Information
