Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with 5 to 7 years of expertise in analytical roles related to Transit Agencies and the Public Sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bus operations and a knack for independently managing tasks while effectively communicating with diverse stakeholders.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Possess 5-7 years of combined experience in Business Analysis and/or Product Ownership.
- Demonstrate proven experience within Transit Agencies and Public Sector projects, including familiarity with stakeholder dynamics, procurement, and regulations.
- Deep understanding of bus operations such as dispatch, scheduling, fleet & maintenance systems, and real-time information systems.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Transportation Planning, Public Administration, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in Agile frameworks like Scrum and Kanban, utilizing tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, and Confluence.
- Excellent analytical skills to deconstruct complex problems into manageable elements.
- Superior communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Capable of leading meetings, fostering consensus, and guiding decisions.
- Experienced in requirements management and related methodologies.
- Self-motivated with a strong ownership mindset and independence in task initiation.
Additional Skills and Preferences
- Desirable certifications like CBAP or CSPO.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of UX/UI principles and accessibility standards.
