Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with 5 to 7 years of expertise in analytical roles related to Transit Agencies and the Public Sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bus operations and a knack for independently managing tasks while effectively communicating with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

Possess 5-7 years of combined experience in Business Analysis and/or Product Ownership.
Demonstrate proven experience within Transit Agencies and Public Sector projects, including familiarity with stakeholder dynamics, procurement, and regulations.
Deep understanding of bus operations such as dispatch, scheduling, fleet & maintenance systems, and real-time information systems.
Hold a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Transportation Planning, Public Administration, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
Proficient in Agile frameworks like Scrum and Kanban, utilizing tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, and Confluence.
Excellent analytical skills to deconstruct complex problems into manageable elements.
Superior communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
Capable of leading meetings, fostering consensus, and guiding decisions.
Experienced in requirements management and related methodologies.
Self-motivated with a strong ownership mindset and independence in task initiation.

Additional Skills and Preferences

Desirable certifications like CBAP or CSPO.
Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
Knowledge of UX/UI principles and accessibility standards.
