About the Role
Join Martin Brower UK and Ireland as an Artic Driver based in Clondalkin, South Dublin. We are a global leader in supply chain solutions, supporting renowned restaurant brands such as McDonald’s. In this full-time, permanent position, you will play a vital role in delivering goods efficiently and following established procedures for safe and accurate deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pre-departure vehicle inspections and report any defects to the garage for repair.
- Verify and secure goods before leaving the depot.
- Adhere strictly to delivery schedules, recording arrival and departure times accurately.
- Maintain communication with the Transport Office regarding delays, breakdowns, or delivery issues.
- Carry out delivery protocols such as proof of delivery checks, temperature monitoring of goods, and PDA documentation.
- Ensure deliveries are signed by the relevant restaurant manager.
- Post-journey duties include cleaning the vehicle interior, refueling both the unit and fridge, parking under guidance, and participating in debriefing sessions.
- Perform additional tasks as directed by management, including compliance with legal requirements related to LGV drivers and submitting weekly tachograph data.
- Follow company Safe Working Procedures and maintain a strong awareness of health and safety standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- Holds a C+E driving license for at least two years with a strong safety record of three accident-free years.
- Experience operating large goods vehicles, especially with refrigerated trailers, preferred.
- Understanding of vehicle refrigeration systems and the use of tachographs in accordance with EC drivers’ hours and working time regulations.
- Completion of Drivers CPC is essential.
- Good computer literacy, including PDA usage and documentation.
- Level 2 or equivalent in English and Mathematics required.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changes and work under pressure calmly.
- Innovative mindset with a proactive approach to identifying improvements and problem-solving.
Additional Information

Compensation
The position offers a competitive hourly wage of €23.62.
