Role Overview

This position involves providing second-level production support for enterprise applications deployed on Unix/Linux platforms, ensuring smooth operations and adhering to service level agreements.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver L2 production support for applications running on Unix/Linux systems.
Continuously monitor application health, analyze logs, and evaluate system performance to maintain uptime and meet SLA requirements.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to applications, batch jobs, and system operations.
Conduct log examinations, debugging sessions, and root cause analysis for recurring problems.
Support Python-based scripts and applications by debugging and implementing minor improvements.
Oversee batch job scheduling and management using tools such as AutoSys or cron, addressing any job failures.
Collaborate effectively with L1 and L3 support teams, development personnel, and infrastructure staff to resolve incidents.
Manage incidents, service requests, and problem tickets following ITIL guidelines.
Participate in deployment, release, and environment validation processes.
Keep all documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base materials updated and accurate.
