About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Apparel Buying Merchandiser based in South Delhi, offering a monthly salary up to ₹50,000. Candidates must bring a minimum of four years' experience in apparel merchandising, particularly within buying house environments, with expertise in high-end fashion and luxury party wear segments. This position demands comprehensive control over merchandising processes combined with sharp negotiation skills and the ability to nurture supplier partnerships effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the entire merchandising cycle from selection to product delivery, ensuring offerings align with market trends and customer demand.
• Establish and sustain robust relationships with suppliers and manufacturers while negotiating favorable terms and assuring quality standards.
• Perform market research and analyze trends to uncover new product opportunities and enhance existing collections.
• Oversee inventory levels alongside sales data, recommending reorder actions or markdowns when necessary.
• Collaborate with design, production, and sales teams to create product lines consistent with brand strategies.
• Generate and deliver detailed reports on sales results, inventory conditions, and trend insights to senior management.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration, or a similar discipline.
• Proven minimum of 4 years in merchandising roles within buying houses, focusing on apparel.
• In-depth knowledge of upscale fashion and luxury party wear markets.
• Strong negotiation, analytical thinking, and communication abilities.
• Competent in merchandising software tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
