Role overview
This full-time, on-site Youth Worker position in Singapore focuses on supporting students through mentoring, counselling, and practical intervention work. The role is centred on strengthening student wellbeing, building trusted relationships, and contributing to their holistic development.
Working hours
The schedule is four days per week, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Key responsibilities
- Provide regular mentoring and counselling to students who have been identified for support.
- Develop constructive, supportive relationships that help students grow in a well-rounded way.
- Design and run intervention initiatives and organise home visits based on each student’s specific needs.
- Track important student concerns and share updates with Student Management KPI stakeholders and school leaders.
- Take part in case review discussions and contribute observations that help refine student support strategies.
Requirements
- The candidate must be registered with MOE.
- Applicants should be a registered Social Worker in Singapore, or work under supervision of one, and have training in social-emotional learning.
- A tertiary qualification in Counselling, Psychology, or Social Work is required.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience is preferred.
