Role Overview
The Youth Lead role is a full-time, on-site position located in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar. This role entails planning, organizing, and executing youth-centered initiatives aligned with Digitoglobe's community goals and brand identity. Responsibilities include designing and conducting youth programs, workshops, and activities that foster digital literacy, creativity, and personal growth. The Youth Lead actively engages with young participants, building constructive relationships and providing mentorship aligned with recognized youth work and social impact practices.
Key Duties
- Coordinate daily programming including scheduling and communication with youth participants and stakeholders.
- Build and sustain positive relationships with youth, community partners, and internal teams.
- Organize events, gather participant feedback, and enhance program content and delivery based on insights.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation ensuring program operations are smooth and effective.
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment for all youth involved.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Proven experience in youth leadership and engagement, capable of inspiring and mentoring diverse youth groups.
- Experience designing, managing, or delivering youth-focused programs, events, or workshops.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact clearly and respectfully with youth, parents, partners, and team members.
- Background or practical experience in social work, community involvement, or fields related to youth development and well-being.
- Ability to foster inclusive, secure, and supportive spaces respecting diverse personal identities and backgrounds.
- Strong organizational aptitude with excellent multitasking abilities and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work on-site and collaborate within a dynamic team environment.
- Preferably holds academic qualifications in social sciences, education, psychology, social work, or a related field, though not compulsory.
- Familiarity with digital media platforms and social networks to effectively engage youth and promote initiatives is advantageous.
