Overview
This permanent, full-time position at PlaceMakers Mangawhai branch involves working in the Yard and Drive Thru department. The role focuses on assisting customers, handling product loading and unloading, and supporting warehouse operations to maintain efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing excellent customer service within the timber yard and Drive Thru area.
- Loading goods onto customer vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Processing customer orders and transactions accurately.
- Picking and preparing orders for delivery when required.
- Monitoring inventory levels and performing cycle counts.
- Supporting warehouse maintenance tasks as directed.
- Operating a forklift safely and competently.
Candidate Profile
- Possession of a full clean Class 1 driver licence; forklift licence or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of trade products or background in warehousing operations is advantageous.
- Physically fit with strong commitment to health and safety standards.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Basic computer and numeracy skills.

Additional Information
This role requires Tuesday to Saturday availability, with a standard 40-hour work week at the Mangawhai site.
