About the role
This Tauranga-based Workplace Administrator position is a permanent role working 20 hours per week. It is designed for someone who enjoys variety and wants to contribute to the wellbeing of tamariki, rangatahi, whānau, and communities in Aotearoa New Zealand.
You will join a friendly, collaborative team and develop your administration capability in a role that supports day-to-day casework activity and wider workplace operations.
Key duties
- Provide administrative support for a range of casework-related activities.
- Help manage financial plans by keeping records accurate and reconciling workplace financial activity.
- Work with vendors, casual staff, and other stakeholders, including people from different cultural groups and backgrounds.
- Handle room bookings, respond to phone calls, and support reception duties.
- Spot operational risks, raise them when needed, and identify ways to improve processes.
- Stay composed and professional when dealing with sensitive or urgent situations.
What you need to bring
To succeed in this role, you should have strong administration capability, good coordination skills, and the confidence to manage competing priorities. You also need to communicate clearly, adapt your approach to different audiences, and show awareness of cross-cultural practice, especially tikanga Māori and Pacific peoples' culture.

Terms and conditions
The role offers an annual remuneration range starting from $57,096 to $62,773, depending on experience, with progression each year based on tenure and experience.
