This position is a chance to contribute to the company’s growing global presence while working at the intersection of foundations, impact investing, fintech, and social impact.
What You Can Expect
- A broad international outlook, including research into philanthropy, impact investing, and social finance movements around the world.
- The opportunity to help establish partnership processes from the earliest research stage through to initial outreach.
- A small, knowledgeable team with expertise spanning foundations, impact investing, and fintech.
Key Responsibilities
- Study and organize the global landscape of philanthropy, impact investing, and social finance.
- Reach out to and maintain relationships with international partners, networks, and initiatives in English.
- Support English-language communication, including newsletters and other external content.
- Create clear and persuasive presentations and decks for an international audience.
- Support ongoing international projects by coordinating meetings, tracking next steps, and following up.
Profile Requirements
The ideal candidate communicates confidently and adapts tone well across emails, newsletter content, and partner conversations. Strong English skills are essential, while German is an advantage. You should enjoy bringing structure to complex topics, improving processes, and working independently with a proactive, solution-focused mindset. Comfort with learning and using new tools such as Notion, Google Workspace, AI-based tools, or other software is important. A genuine interest in social impact and in transforming the giving landscape is also expected.
Benefits
- Work on a mission-driven role that helps expand bcause’s international presence in a field that is evolving quickly.
- Join a compact, high-caliber team operating at the intersection of finance, technology, and social impact.
- Enjoy a flexible setup with a Berlin Kurfürstendamm office base and the possibility of working from home.
- Gain practical exposure to social entrepreneurship, impact investing, and international philanthropy.
