About the Role
Sodexo, an employer of over 400,000 people globally and thousands within Australia, is seeking a Workforce Scheduler to join the team at our Balcatta Support Centre in Perth. This pivotal role focuses on ensuring efficient workforce coverage across a range of sites by expertly managing rosters and contingent labour resources, thereby supporting site leaders to maintain uninterrupted operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain precise, forward-planning rosters that align with operational demands.
- Oversee contingent labour pools and coordinate with agency partners to secure necessary staffing.
- Keep detailed rosters, tracking systems, and compliance documentation up-to-date across various platforms.
- Assist with onboarding procedures and manage site access protocols for new hires and contractors.
- Lead weekly labour planning meetings to strategize staffing needs.
- Address vacancies promptly, manage employee absences, and adjust labour plans to maintain optimal coverage.
- Collaborate with Site Leaders to resolve time and attendance discrepancies.
- Manage HR-related issues for contingent workforce members.
- Generate reports, uphold data accuracy, and support long-term workforce planning initiatives.
- Identify and recommend process improvements and aid in the implementation of new tools and systems.
Candidate Profile
- Well-organized, proactive, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments.
- Clear communicator adept at handling multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Experience with scheduling or rostering, preferably within FIFO (Fly-In Fly-Out) or 24/7 operational contexts.
- Familiarity with awards, enterprise agreements, and labour regulations.
- Proficient in technical systems such as Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Power BI, UKG, and induction platforms.
- Strong interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement and communication.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, organizational skills, and capability to interpret data effectively.
- Ability to operate within defined Key Performance Indicator (KPI) and Service Level Agreement (SLA) frameworks.
Education
- Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration is desirable.
