Position Overview
The Faculty of Human Sciences, specifically at Institute 1: Education, Profession, and Media, Department of Vocational and Business Education (BBP), invites applications for the role of Wissenschaftliche*r Mitarbeiter*in (Research Associate) in the area of subject science and subject didactics working full-time (100%) at the Chair of Vocational Didactics of Personal Care Professions.

- Start date: October 1, 2026
- Contract duration: 3 years
- Working hours: Full-time (100%)
Key Responsibilities
- Training of teacher education students in personal care-related disciplines regarding subject science and didactics
- Conducting teaching equivalent to 4 semester weekly hours
- Supervising master's theses in the Master's program for teaching vocational schools in personal care disciplines
- Supporting program organization within the chair
- Assisting in student recruitment and counseling
- Contributing to research activities, including participating in project proposal development and engagement in research projects specifically related to subject science and/or didactics of personal care professions
- Participating in regional knowledge transfer projects
- Managing academic organizational tasks
- Advancing own academic qualification
Candidate Profile
- Completed academic degree in teacher education for vocational schools focused on health and/or nursing, alternatively social pedagogy
- Experience in scientific work
- Background in student guidance and counseling
- Enthusiasm for engaging with students, working independently and collaboratively in teams
