About the Role
BrandSpanking is looking for an energetic Wine Brand Ambassador to represent well-known wine labels and create positive in-store and event experiences. The company works with an impressive mix of clients, including names such as Taylors Estate, Uncommon Wine, Selaks, and others, and activates brands across supermarkets, retail outlets, and major events in Christchurch.
Work Schedule
This position is based in Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand. Most shifts are scheduled from Thursday to Sunday, and you can choose your availability. The role is due to start in the week beginning 20/10/2025.
Indicative shift times are:
- Weekdays: around 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm
- Weekends: around 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm
These timings are approximate and may change depending on client requirements. A staffing platform is used to view and pick up available work.

This opportunity suits someone who is lively, polished, and comfortable speaking with a wide range of people. Previous experience is not required; a friendly attitude, strong communication, and enthusiasm are valued most.
Responsibilities
- Carry out promotional tastings and brand activations for wine products and related brands.
- Approach shoppers in a friendly way and explain the featured products clearly.
- Create a welcoming, professional, and memorable customer experience while representing both the employer and client brands.
Requirements
- Strong verbal communication and people skills.
- Outgoing, positive, and enthusiastic personality.
- Presentable appearance and the ability to reflect a strong brand image.
- Comfort working both independently and with a team.
- Availability for evenings and weekends when needed.
- Reliable vehicle access for travel to and from shifts.
- Interest in wine is an advantage.
Pay and Benefits
- Starting pay of $25 per hour.
- Mileage and travel support for assignments more than 20 km from the Christchurch CBD.
