- Track each site’s performance against published safety standards and create corrective action plans for any gaps.
- Deliver projects to operations on schedule and with the expected quality.
- Review safety data, including weekly and monthly incident patterns, to identify trends and direct resources toward higher-risk areas.
- Carry out regular safety audits to uncover unsafe equipment or processes and implement controls that reduce exposure and prevent injuries across fulfillment centers.
- Review recordkeeping practices and entries in the global safety database to confirm alignment with global standards and local laws.
- Examine workplace organization and associate behavior to verify that training, auditing, and scoring methods remain accurate and consistent.
- Lead, support, and mentor Safety Associates within the assigned fulfillment center.
- Spend time at fulfillment centers gathering feedback from safety teams, associates, and leaders, and keep communication open on progress and resolution of improvement actions.
- Check the quality, delivery, and effectiveness of all mandatory safety training, including trainer qualifications.
Requirements
- Background in an environmental health and safety (EHS) related field.
- Hands-on experience applying lean principles and process-improvement methods in an operational setting.
- At least 1 year of growing responsibility in EHS, environmental programs, or work health and safety.

Preferred qualifications
- Master’s degree in industrial or manufacturing engineering.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in supply chain or logistics environments.
