Overview

At Airbus Helicopters Technik GmbH located in Kassel-Calden, a leading global high-tech company specialized in aerospace systems, components, and precision parts development, manufacturing, and maintenance, we are expanding our team. We invite motivated individuals to join us as a Werkzeugvoreinsteller (tool presetting technician) to support production by ensuring the availability and preparation of essential tools and equipment for manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide tools and operating materials according to company guidelines during shifts, serving as a key liaison supporting smooth production workflows.
  • Manage and coordinate tool and equipment provisioning, including using systems like FATOOL and CREO for resource administration.
  • Create operating material entries within CAD systems in collaboration with production planning.
  • Maintain inventory of consumables, conduct stock audits, and initiate reorders and demand notifications as needed.
  • Ensure timely and quality preparation of all necessary turning and milling tools for production orders.
  • Utilize tool presetting machines to assemble, measure, and adjust complete tools as per specifications, performing refurbishments when required.
  • Coordinate workflow within the tool presetting area and advise on the use of cutting tools.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Completed technical training or several years of professional experience in tool presetting.
  • Proven experience operating tool measuring machines and shrink devices.
  • Highly independent and precise working style.
  • Strong team spirit combined with a thorough quality awareness.
  • Proficiency in common MS Office applications.
  • Willingness and ability to work in a 3-shift system.
