About the Hotel
Welcome Hotel Wesel is a four-star property located right on the Rhine promenade. The hotel offers 103 suites, 12 conference rooms equipped with modern meeting technology for groups ranging from 10 to 300 people, the Deichgraf restaurant with 120 seats, a summer terrace, and the H2O hotel bar. The culinary offer is complemented by the rustic Plückers Q-Stall located next to the hotel. The guest mix is international and includes business travelers, conference attendees, and leisure guests. Around 45 employees look after the wellbeing of guests.
The hotel places strong value on a positive working atmosphere and wants its team to be the heart of the business. The employer is looking for someone to join as soon as possible in the role of Thekenkraft (m/w/d) für das Wochenende.
What the Role Involves
- Providing attentive advice and care to guests at the counter and in hospitality areas.
- Working independently in shift operations across indoor and outdoor dining areas, as well as in different event and banquet rooms.
- Handling cash transactions, preparing guest invoices, and completing waiter cash reconciliation.
- Ensuring compliance with hygiene requirements under HACCP and with all relevant safety rules.
- Following the hotel’s quality management procedures in day-to-day work.
