Role Overview
This full-time position, based in New Delhi and requiring on-site presence, involves comprehensive assessment of water slides and associated attractions. The Water Slide Tester will conduct repeated rides under multiple conditions to examine safety standards, user comfort, and overall experience quality. Key responsibilities include documenting ride features, measuring speed and impact forces, monitoring water flow and surface integrity, and flagging safety or maintenance concerns. Close coordination with operational and upkeep teams is essential to deliver actionable feedback and suggestions for enhancements. The Tester will also assist in establishing testing methodologies, engage in quality audits, and uphold compliance with safety regulations and internal guidelines.
Qualifications
- Capable of performing strenuous repetitive tasks such as stair climbing, walking on wet terrain, and multiple slide rides daily.
- Exceptional observation skills with a strong focus on safety, comfort, and quality improvement identification.
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral, for precise documentation and teamwork across departments.
- Comfortable working in aquatic settings exposed to various weather conditions, water, and ambient noise.
- Basic knowledge of safety protocols and commitment to adhering to prescribed safety procedures.
- Demonstrates high dependability, professionalism, and compliance with structured testing routines.
- Previous experience in amusement park operations, safety inspections, or quality assurance is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Minimum educational qualification of a high school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or safety training is beneficial.
