Job description
Job Overview
This position is part of the UK Production Team and supports the Production Department by assisting with bird movement and performing mucking out, cleaning, and sanitization of poultry houses.
Team Structure
The Mobile Team consists of two sub-teams: the Wash Team and the Service Team. Members are expected to support one another as needed. The Wash Team has 8 members reporting to a Team Lead and falls under the Production division.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform mucking out of farm buildings.
- Clean and sanitize farm buildings to a high standard.
- Comply with company Health and Safety regulations and procedures.
- Assist occasionally with moving birds.
Additional Duties
- Follow strict hygiene practices including personal hygiene, hand washing, and wearing protective clothing.
- Adhere to biosecurity protocols rigorously.
- Comply with farm Health and Safety rules and procedures.
- Carry out any other reasonable tasks as assigned by the Team Lead.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary offered is competitive at £29,000 per annum. The package includes bonuses, private health care coverage, a generous pension plan, and Christmas gifts.
