Role Overview

Chery South Africa is seeking a dedicated Warranty Administrator to join the Aftersales Department on a permanent, full-time basis. This role is based in Lékoumou Department, Republic of the Congo, and involves working closely with the Aftersales team to manage all warranty-related processes efficiently. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring that warranty claims and queries are handled accurately and in a timely manner, supporting the department’s objectives and contributing to the company's overall success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and review warranty claims following OEM Warranty Parts and Plan Manual (WPPM) and service plan guidelines.
  • Detect and report fraudulent warranty claims to maintain integrity.
  • Maintain up-to-date warranty and service plan documentation accurately.
  • Monitor company communications, including announcements and factory recalls, to stay informed.
  • Organize and keep comprehensive records for customers and services.
  • Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with dealership partners.
  • Ensure prompt processing of service plan and warranty payments.
  • Prepare monthly reports detailing claim payments and service plan utilization (burn rates).
  • Manage warranty cancellations or alerts related to late or missed services that affect vehicle service plans and warranties.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum education requirement: Matriculation certificate or diploma.
  • Higher education qualifications in relevant fields are a plus.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience, preferably within the automotive sector.

  • Proficient verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Capability to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in handling information.
