About the Role
Join our warehouse team located at Havensides, Fishtoft Road, Boston, PE21 0AH. We are looking for dedicated individuals to fill full-time, permanent Warehouse Picker and Packer positions with immediate start. The role offers competitive compensation at £12.75 per hour, working five days weekly on rotational shifts. Picker shifts run from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, while Packer shifts are from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Key Duties
As a Warehouse Picker, you will be responsible for selecting customer orders accurately using a handheld scanner, verifying correct items and quantities, operating VNA trucks when necessary, and safely moving products with equipment such as Manual Pallet Trucks, Electric Pallet Trucks, and forklifts. As a Warehouse Packer, your tasks include inspecting picked products before packing, ensuring items are securely packed without damage, labeling for shipping, and maintaining order accuracy before dispatch.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in warehouses, factories, logistics, or e-commerce environments.
- Ability to lift heavy furniture and boxes throughout shifts.
- Proficiency in using handheld scanners or Warehouse Management Systems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures.
- Reliability, punctuality, and capability to function well within a team.
- For Picker roles, experience operating VNA trucks is essential.
Preferred Experience (Not Mandatory)
- Previous furniture warehouse work.
- Operation of Electric Pallet Trucks, Reach Trucks, or Counterbalance Forklifts.
- Relevant forklift certifications.
- Effective communication skills in English.
