Estates Officer - Minor New Works

Overview

The Estates Department is responsible for the comprehensive upkeep, repair, and installation of all buildings, grounds, engineering services, and related equipment across the Trust. This role is based at Bournemouth Hospital and involves regular work during weekdays with possibilities for overtime and weekend duties.

Job Requirements

• Possession of a recognised trade apprenticeship.
• Minimum qualification equivalent to BTEC, ONC, HNC or similar certificate or equivalent experience.
• Electro-mechanical maintenance experience is beneficial.
• Familiarity with Health & Safety regulations is an advantage.
• Must hold a current UK manual driving licence.
• Residence within half an hour’s travel time to enable on-call responsibilities.

Additional Details

• Working days are Monday to Friday.
• Opportunities for additional overtime and weekend shifts are available.
• Annual salary ranges from £39,959 to £48,117 (Band 5).
• Additional remuneration includes a local recruitment and retention premium of £3,500 annually and an on-call retainer of approximately £1,000.
