About the role

This is a practical warehouse and logistics position suited to someone who enjoys hands-on work and has a curious, mechanically inclined mindset. The job is based in Lower Hutt, Wellington, and supports industrial customers across New Zealand.

Motion operates across the Asia Pacific region, including New Zealand, Australia, Indonesia, and Singapore. The company supplies industrial products and engineering services that help keep industry moving, and it is currently focused on growth through a 2027 expansion plan. What you will do

  • Provide customer-focused support across the activities of each business unit.
  • Make sure orders are accurate and sent out on time.
  • Help maintain a safe workplace by following the latest OSH requirements and company safety policies.
  • Keep the warehouse orderly, clean, and well maintained.

Skills and experience

  • Physically capable of lifting items ranging from small goods to heavier objects, up to 20 kg minimum.
  • Current New Zealand driver’s licence.
  • Solid understanding of health and safety expectations in an industrial setting.
  • Able to work on your own initiative and find practical ways to handle products efficiently.
  • Works well as part of a team.
