Warehouse Operative - Dundalk

Role overview

This position is for a warehouse operative based in Dundalk, County Louth. The role centers on moving, organising, and preparing stock inside the warehouse, along with supporting delivery runs to customer and site addresses when required. A valid full clean driving licence is essential.

Core duties

• Carry out day-to-day warehouse tasks such as receiving incoming goods and dispatching outgoing stock.
• Pick, pack, and load or unload deliveries as part of normal warehouse operations.
• Support deliveries to customer and site locations when needed.
• Take part in all areas of the site’s business activities.
• Deal with sales enquiries by telephone or at the counter, giving practical advice, product details, and quotations while aiming to improve sales and margins.
• Recommend suitable alternatives, identify opportunities to upsell, and help drive own-brand and cross-brand sales.
• Keep product knowledge current and stay aware of branch pricing, costs, and targets.
• Record and prepare customer orders.
• Undertake additional tasks as assigned.

Experience and requirements
