This warehouse position is based in a modern chilled facility in Wells, where you’ll help keep food production and dispatch running efficiently. The role is designed for people who want a shift pattern that fits around their life, with multiple rota options and strong earning potential.

You’ll be part of the logistics function, working in a fast-moving team that takes pride in supporting the preparation and despatch of high-quality meals for customers. This is a practical, hands-on role suited to someone with warehouse experience who enjoys working at pace.

What the role involves

• Accept incoming goods and record deliveries accurately.
• Restock materials and products for production colleagues.
• Pick items and prepare orders for the next stage of work.
• Wrap, secure, and load goods ready for dispatch.
• Help ensure smooth handovers between shifts.
• Work to daily targets as part of a team in a chilled environment.

Shift patterns available

You can choose the rota that best suits your lifestyle:

• 4 on, 4 off days: 06:00–18:00, with an average of around 6 months worked per year and long breaks built into the calendar.
• Friday to Sunday days: Friday and Saturday 06:00–18:00, Sunday 06:00–16:00, giving you 4 days off each week.

What the employer is looking for

The ideal person will already have warehouse experience, be comfortable working in cold conditions, and bring a dependable, proactive attitude. Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay effective in a busy team environment are important.

A forklift or reach truck licence would be an advantage, but it is not required. Training support may be provided where needed.

Pay and benefits

This role offers competitive hourly pay with higher rates depending on shift pattern, along with overtime, guaranteed quarterly bonus, and a strong range of benefits.

• £14.72–£17.16 per hour depending on shift.
• Equivalent annual salary of £32,000–£34,000+ pro rata for part-time arrangements.
