Role Overview

The Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator will oversee daily management of the central warehouse operations. Key tasks include receiving and verifying materials, storage management, inventory control, coordinating dispatches, and planning logistics for vessels and project sites. This role ensures accurate inventory tracking, timely availability of materials, efficient logistics planning, and adheres to company standards to ensure seamless marine operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage warehouse operations including receiving, inspection, verification against POs and shipping lists.
  • Enter Goods Receipt Notes in the ERP system accurately and maintain systematic storage, labeling, and housekeeping.
  • Apply FIFO/FEFO inventory rotation methods and maintain safety compliance aligned with HSE standards.
  • Maintain precise inventory records within the ERP system; monitor stock thresholds and reconcile stock counts monthly.
  • Investigate discrepancies in inventory and suggest corrective measures; monitor slow-moving or obsolete inventory items.
  • Organize delivery schedules for vessels and project locations, coordinating drivers and third-party transportation.
  • Prepare dispatch and transfer documentation, track deliveries, and support urgent operational requirements.
  • Manage consumable stock specific to vessels, align replenishment with usage patterns, and ensure crucial operational items are always stocked.
  • Generate reports on inventory, dispatch, and warehouse KPIs; maintain audit-ready records and ensure policy compliance.
  • Coordinate consistently across Procurement, Operations, Technical, Finance, and vessel teams to improve warehouse processes and support continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Between 5 and 8 years of relevant experience managing warehouses, logistics, or inventory.
  • Preferably experienced within marine-related sectors.
  • Familiarity with ERP software such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, or Oracle is beneficial.
  • Certifications in forklift operation, HSE, or logistics are an advantage.

Required Competencies

  • Proficiency with ERP systems for inventory and warehouse management.
  • Strong skills in material handling and warehouse safety practices.
  • Competence in inventory forecasting and stock management.
  • Dispatch coordination and effective documentation management.
  • Experience in performance tracking with KPI reporting.
