Job description
Job Summary
The waiter supports smooth dining service by delivering food and drinks promptly, handling orders, coordinating with runners, and upholding service quality. The role also includes table preparation and clearing, maintaining a neat restaurant environment, and helping guests choose suitable menu items and beverages.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare tables before service and reset them after guests leave, following the brand’s presentation standards.
- Welcome guests, share the menu, help them decide on dishes and drinks, take orders accurately, and ensure timely service.
- Work closely with kitchen and barista teams to support customer satisfaction and keep daily operations running smoothly.
- Maintain consistently courteous, professional, and fast service; escalate complaints or service issues to the manager on duty without delay.
- Receive payments from guests and pass them to the cashier.
Language and Technical Skills
Fluency in English is required. Arabic is considered an advantage.
Education
A high school diploma is required.
Experience
At least 1 year of experience in customer service or a comparable waiter/service position is needed.
