VP, Strategic Finance

Role Overview

This senior leadership position is centered on financial strategy, business performance management, and executive-level decision support within a rapidly scaling technology company. The role is based in the United States and is structured as a remote opportunity.

You will work in close partnership with the CFO and other senior leaders to help define long-term financial plans, guide capital deployment, and shape enterprise strategy across several growth areas. The position connects finance with go-to-market, product, and operations, ensuring that the company’s priorities stay aligned through reliable data and clear analysis.

A major part of the role is turning complex financial information into practical strategic recommendations that influence investments, operating choices, and growth initiatives. The scope includes revenue performance, unit economics, and financial planning frameworks designed to support scalable and sustainable expansion.

This is a highly visible executive role for someone with strong commercial judgment, leadership presence, and the ability to influence stakeholders at every level of the organization. Key Accountabilities

• Own long-range planning, forecasting, and scenario analysis tied to company growth priorities and strategic goals.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the CFO and executive team on strategic, financial, and operational matters.
• Shape go-to-market financial strategy across Sales, Marketing, and Product to improve growth, efficiency, and performance.
• Manage and continuously improve core operating metrics such as MRR, retention, churn, LTV, CAC, and overall unit economics.
• Assess investment options, pricing decisions, market expansion opportunities, and capital allocation trade-offs.
• Create executive-, board-, and investor-ready reporting that tells a clear financial story and highlights actionable insights.
• Build, lead, and develop strategic finance and operations teams while strengthening overall organizational effectiveness.
• Work across functions to keep financial strategy, product direction, and operational execution aligned.

Requirements

• At least 12 years of experience in Strategic Finance, FP&A, Investment Banking, Consulting, or a similar finance leadership function.
• Strong experience in SaaS or other high-growth technology businesses, including support for major business transformation efforts.
• Proven success partnering with C-level executives and contributing to board-level and investor communications.
• Deep familiarity with GTM strategy, pricing models, and SaaS metrics such as MRR, CAC, LTV, churn, and retention.
• Excellent financial modeling, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to convert data into strategy.
• Hands-on experience with modern data tools and AI-enabled platforms to improve financial and business outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to drive decisions in a fast-paced, matrixed, high-growth setting.
• Strong leadership background with experience building, coaching, and scaling finance teams.
• Excellent executive communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex financial ideas for senior audiences.
