Role Summary

The Vice President of Product Operations and Strategy will own the company’s product strategy and operating model from planning through execution and commercial scaling. The position requires aligning product direction with business growth and operational excellence so the product portfolio remains competitive and scalable.

Key Responsibilities

Lead company-wide product strategy planning and build medium- and long-term roadmaps.

Set product direction using market trends, competitive insights, and customer needs.

Continuously refine the product portfolio strategy and its overall structure.

Create standardized product operations processes covering launches, iterations, and retirements.

Oversee product lifecycle management and ensure key milestones are tracked and met.

Improve collaboration across R&D, design, marketing, and sales teams.

Build a core product metrics system covering indicators such as DAU/MAU, retention, and conversion.

Use data analysis to guide product improvements and user growth initiatives.

Design and run growth experiments such as A/B tests and audience segmentation strategies.

Develop commercialization approaches across subscription, value-added services, advertising, or B2B models.

Improve monetization channels and raise user payment conversion rates.

Support delivery of key revenue growth objectives.

Coordinate resources across product, technology, operations, marketing, and sales functions.

Drive strategic product initiatives such as new launches and platform upgrades.

Support major clients and high-priority industry solutions.

Lead teams responsible for product operations, analytics, and strategic planning.

Build talent pipelines and implement performance management practices.

Strengthen the team’s product orientation and commercialization capability.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree or higher is required, with a preference for Computer Science, Business, Engineering Management, or similar disciplines.

A minimum of 20 years of experience in product management or product operations is required, including 8 to 10 years in senior executive leadership roles.

Background in internet, SaaS, platform, or B2B products is preferred.

Experience with product lifecycle management and growth frameworks is expected.

Strong analytical ability, commercial judgment, and strategic leadership are essential.

Core Competencies

You should bring strategic vision, a broad product perspective, and a strong bias toward data-backed decisions.

The role also calls for excellent coordination skills, organizational discipline, sound market judgment, and the ability to act quickly in complex situations.
