Job description
About the Role
A prominent asset management platform in the GCC region is initiating the establishment of a comprehensive international investment portfolio, beginning with US real estate and private equity, and planning to extend to various asset types and global markets over time. The Vice President will have the unique opportunity to lead this initiative entirely, reporting straight to the Chief Executive Officer.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and cultivate partnerships with leading international General Partners (GPs), negotiating terms essential to introducing their strategies within the region.
- Oversee investment and operational due diligence on potential fund managers and investment vehicles.
- Manage products through every stage, from initial discussions to committee approval, launch, and continuous lifecycle oversight.
- Develop the necessary regulatory frameworks and fund structures ensuring US real estate and private equity offerings are compliant and tax-optimized for regional investors.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum seven years of experience in asset management product development, fund structuring, manager selection or fund-of-funds, or alternative investments distribution.
- Possession of CFA and/or CAIA certifications highly preferred; familiarity with GCC and Saudi Arabian market regulations, including CMA guidelines, is advantageous.
- Experience with cross-border US fund structuring is a significant plus.
- Essential expertise in Private Equity and Real Estate investment sectors.
Additional Information
This position offers an exceptional chance to build an international investment platform from the ground up rather than managing an existing portfolio. Candidates should note that relocation to Riyadh is not mandatory, as remote work from any GCC country is fully supported. The VP will work closely with a respected CEO at a leading asset management firm in Saudi Arabia known for its strong growth trajectory.
