Role Overview
This contract position entails providing voice recordings for customer experience (CX) AI agent voice cloning. The remote role requires 5 to 10 hours of commitment weekly and pays between $50 and $150 hourly.
Primary Responsibilities
- Produce clear, high-quality voice recordings for various script types such as conversational, narrative, and instructional content.
- Maintain natural, expressive speech with precise control over tone, pacing, and pronunciation.
- Ensure consistent voice, accent, and delivery throughout multiple recording sessions.
- Adhere strictly to recording protocols including environment setup, microphone use, and file formats.
- Record multiple takes demonstrating different emotions, emphasis, and vocal styles when requested.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Native American English speaker residing within the United States.
- Demonstrable experience in voice acting, dubbing, narration, podcasting, or broadcast media.
- Possession of professional or near-professional recording equipment and a quiet recording environment.
- Strong skills in intonation, diction, and a wide emotional range in vocal delivery.
- Ability to follow scripts thoroughly while sounding natural.
- Reliable availability for consistent weekly hours on the project.
- Acceptance that the recorded voice may be cloned for client CX AI applications.
Preferred Skills
- Background in recording text-to-speech (TTS) datasets, audiobooks, interactive voice response (IVR) systems, or AI voice projects.
- Experience using audio editing software like Audacity, Adobe Audition, or Reaper.
- Capability to produce diverse vocal styles ranging from conversational to corporate and varying energy levels.
