About The Role

Alignerr is seeking professional voice actors or voice-over artists with genuine Australian accents for paid recording sessions in a leading AI speech research project. This contract position requires voice talent based in Australia and involves studio sessions designed to help AI technologies better interpret natural human speech, enhancing accuracy and user experience.

Role Details

• Engage in 2 to 3 sessions lasting approximately 4 hours each
• The project strictly involves authentic voice recordings, excluding voice cloning

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver natural, conversational Australian English speech within a professional studio setting
• Participate in both solo recording sessions and dialogues featuring two speakers
• Produce realistic and authentic dialogue that sounds spontaneous
• Adapt tone, pace, and delivery based on light directing to suit various scenarios
• Maintain energy, professionalism, and consistency throughout multiple recordings

Candidate Profile

• Professional or semi-professional voice actor/voice-over artist with recording experience
• Native or near-native speaker of Australian English with an authentic accent
• Capable of delivering natural conversational dialogue beyond scripted text
• Dependable, punctual, and open to creative guidance
• Available for multiple scheduled recording sessions

Mandatory Requirements

• Prior voice acting or voice-over experience
• Currently residing in Australia
• Fluent in English communication
• Comfort with producing natural, unscripted-sounding speech

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in theatre, acting, or performance arts
• Experience in broadcast, podcasting, or commercial voice work
• Previous professional studio recording experience
