About the Role
We are seeking an experienced VMC Machine Operator to join the Advance Electronic Division in Bangalore. This full-time position offers a monthly salary ranging from ₹30,000 to ₹50,000 and is managed by Adecco India. Candidates must have prior experience and relevant qualifications in mechanical trades.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting up Vertical Machining Centers (VMC) including fixture and tool alignment
- Tool setting and adjusting tool offsets for CNC machines
- Conducting prove-out runs of CNC programs and performing first-piece inspections
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings accurately
- Operating measuring instruments like vernier calipers and micrometers
- Optimizing processes and ensuring quality controls are met
Candidate Requirements
- Mandatory experience of 2 to 8 years as a VMC setter
- Completed ITI in Mechanical or Diploma in Mechanical/Production engineering
- Knowledge and hands-on skills in VMC setup and CNC machining using Fanuc controller
- Ability to read detailed engineering drawings and use precision measuring tools
