Equity Trade Control Analyst

About the Role

Join a leading global bank as an Equity Trade Support Control Analyst, delivering exceptional operational support across derivative, swaps, and cash equity products. This role involves collaborating closely with various internal stakeholders including compliance, credit, sales, trading, legal, risk, and technology teams to ensure smooth trade operations and risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide reliable operational support for derivatives, swaps, and equity cash products.
• Investigate and resolve trade-related issues and client enquiries promptly.
• Apply critical thinking to deliver timely solutions to client breaks and operational challenges.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to support sales and trading desks effectively.
• Drive process improvements and strengthen internal controls to reduce operational risks.
• Contribute as a proactive individual team player in meeting collective business objectives.
• Manage ad-hoc projects and coordinate with counterparts across different global regions.

Qualifications & Skills

• Demonstrated knowledge of financial markets with experience in equity derivatives, swaps, and cash product trade support.
• Strong understanding of Equity/Equity Derivatives Trade Life Cycle and Corporate Actions processing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and Word.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume trading environment while ensuring operational excellence.
• Experience with Bloomberg and Reuters platforms and familiarity with corporate action processing are advantageous.
• Programming experience with VBA and SQL is preferred.
