Role overview
The Visual Merchandising Specialist is responsible for delivering excellent guest service while presenting product knowledge in a genuine and engaging way. This role brings the visual merchandising strategy to life in-store by executing standards, product presentation, styling, and marketing displays that improve the customer experience. The position also supports commercial goals through merchandise changes, mannequins, product placement, and in-store campaigns aligned with company expectations and store-specific needs.
Key responsibilities
- Create a positive guest experience by interacting with customers in a way that respects their time and needs.
- Identify guest needs and recommend practical purchase or return solutions.
- Explain product features, value, and benefits clearly and confidently.
- Support the floor team in providing effective guest support and transaction assistance.
- Complete guest transactions accurately and on time, including relevant omnichannel services such as ship-from-store, in line with company standards.
- Stay active on the shop floor to respond to guest and store needs throughout the day.
- Collect guest feedback and work with store leaders to resolve issues appropriately.
- Partner with store leadership to deliver visual merchandising and guest experience standards consistently.
- Apply brand standards to product stories, placement, and store navigation to create a strong guest-focused environment.
- Set up attractive product displays that support the guest experience and improve sales performance.
- Carry out visual merchandising updates such as window changes, mannequin styling, signage and label refreshes, and seasonal or weekly product moves.
- Support company-led product campaigns and initiatives as directed by store leadership.
- Contribute to a respectful, inclusive, and cooperative team culture.
Requirements
- Must be legally allowed to work in the country where the store is located.
- Must be able to travel to the assigned store using reliable transportation.
- Availability must be flexible based on store needs.
- Shifts may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- During busy periods, special events, or other operational needs, the schedule may also include early mornings or late nights/overnight shifts where local law allows.
- At least 1 year of experience in retail or sales is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred as a job asset, along with design training or a related qualification.
- Helpful background includes retail product merchandising, visual merchandising, inventory management, or supporting business operations and projects.

Work environment
This position involves being on the store floor, sometimes in a bright and lively front-of-house setting with loud music. The role may be performed as part of a team, independently, or using computers and other digital tools. Physical tasks can include lifting boxes, fixtures, and mannequins up to 30 lbs (13.6 kg), plus bending, stretching, reaching, and occasional ladder use.
