Job description

Role overview

This is a fixed-term opportunity for a Visual Merchandising Executive within Parfums Christian Dior’s UK visual merchandising function, running until January 2027. The role sits at the centre of local execution, helping turn global creative direction into market-ready visual plans that support brand presentation, seasonal launches, and special initiatives.

As part of a luxury beauty house, you will help keep the UK VM department operating smoothly while ensuring that every point of sale reflects the brand’s standards. The position works closely with marketing, sales, creative, purchasing, retail, and field teams to deliver polished, consistent in-store execution that supports both brand image and commercial performance.

What you will do

  • Support the day-to-day running of the UK visual merchandising team.
  • Translate creative briefs into locally relevant design solutions and gather feedback from the central team.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, manage suppliers, and keep projects on schedule.
  • Oversee the workflow for LCP counter rollouts across annual animations together with the line manager.
  • Handle forecasting for activations alongside the line manager.
  • Manage the workflow for 3Axe sites across all yearly animations.
  • Lead Christmas ad hoc projects from planning through delivery.
  • Manage procurement and budgets for tendered projects and work with purchasing to select the best supplier.
  • Support other projects as required, including logistics such as ordering POSM, testers, and video content.
  • Plan and implement strategies for LCP new launches and DTR exclusive pieces.
  • Ensure DTR counter execution is flawless from launch to completion.
  • Support installation activity for new launches.
  • Regularly visit London flagship stores to check compliance with brand guidelines.
  • Act as the main contact for field VM, working with retail and field teams to drive continuous improvement based on feedback.
  • Be aware that responsibilities may evolve depending on business needs and active projects.

Candidate profile

The ideal background includes 3 to 5 years of experience in luxury beauty or a comparable industry. The role calls for a strong blend of creativity, commercial awareness, organisation, and collaboration.

Skills and strengths

  • High attention to detail and a strong appreciation for premium presentation standards.
  • Ability to think strategically about how VM supports brand goals, customer experience, and sales.
  • Creativity and innovation in developing fresh, on-brand visual concepts.
  • Initiative and a proactive mindset.
  • Strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Clear communication and interpersonal ability.
  • Solid understanding of visual merchandising principles, including layout, lighting, signage, and product placement.
  • Confidence managing budgets and supplier costs.
  • Experience working with external suppliers for fixtures, props, and related materials.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator.

The company aims to create an environment where people feel respected, welcomed, and valued regardless of background or individuality.
